Let Mercy Flow

SCRIPTURE
Micah 6:8 (Message) But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously— take God seriously.

Micah 6:8 (CEV) The Lord God has told us what is right and what he demands: “See that justice is done, let mercy be your first concern, and humbly obey your God.”

OBSERVATION
Mercy (def): an act of kindness, compassion, or favor, blessing, compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy, or other person in one's power.
Justice (def): the quality or fact of being just, the principle of fairness that like cases should be treated alike God desires for me to show mercy to my enemies.
In Micah 5:6 it says, "Our shepherd-ruler will save us from old or new enemies, from anyone who invades or violates our land". God is a God of justice and He will do what He sees fit. My soul purpose is to show mercy, to forgive, to walk in peace and harmony with God. I adhere to His presence in my life rather than offenses.

APPLICATION
As Joyce Meyer's said: "Take the aggressive root to make amends when wrong between you and someone else occurs". Keeping my heart clean is the most important thing, that's where life flows from. If dirt piles up, I spew out dirt.

 PRAYER
Lord I thank You for Your mercy, kindness and faithfulness to me. Thank You God that You are the Author and Finisher of my faith. Thank You God that this work You've begun in me You will continue. I surrender my heart and life to You. Do as You please Lord! I'm very humble to a part of Your plan. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
