"My confidence lies in the Lord"

SCRIPTURE
Acts 18:8-11 In the course of listening to Paul, a great many Corinthians believed and were baptized. One night the Master spoke to Paul in a dream: "Keep it up, and don't let anyone intimidate or silence you. No matter what happens, I'm with you and no one is going to be able to hurt you. You have no idea how many people I have on my side in this city." That was all he needed to stick it out. He stayed another year and a half, faithfully teaching the Word of God to the Corinthians.

OBSERVATION
Confidence (def): full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing; faith, reliance, dependence, assurance, undisturbed calm.
God is asking me to be full of confidence because He has called me and placed me in a place that He wants to use me. He has prepared the way for me. Don't let anyone intimidate me, but be full of confidence. My confidence is in the Lord that He has chosen and He knows what He's doing. That doesn't mean I won't learn or observe from others, it means that He has given me a voice and I need to walk in His authority. I trust in Him; I believe in His powers; I'm relying on Him; my faith, reliance, dependence, assurance is in Him; and therefor I am undisturbed and calm.

APPLICATION
Know that God is on my side and walk in that assurance. My assurance comes from spending time with Him every day and making that a priority!!!

PRAYER
God, You say that Your love is deep and wide and it covers me. Lord, I want to know Your love in all areas of my life. I want You to move in on my every day life and fill all the places of my heart and mind. I want to experience Your love to its vastness; fathom the depth of Your love. Thank You Jesus that You died and made it possible for me to experience, know and live Your love! It's only through You God that I have the freedom and I want to thank You with all my heart. May I NEVER take anything and everything You've done for me for granted. I gladly open ALL of my heart and life to You. I am Yours. Show me Your grace God in the areas that are not yet invaded by You, but Holy Spirit don't let that stop You from altering me to where I'm made whole and true. I need You Lord! I cannot do this without You! Be the Center. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
