Let the First Be The First

"Prioritize every day to spend time with God!"

SCRIPTURE
Luke 3:21-22 After all the people were baptized, Jesus was baptized. As he was praying, the sky opened up and the Holy Spirit, like a dove descending, came down on him. And along with the Spirit, a voice: "You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life."

OBSERVATION
"I give my life to You, my heart to You. You're all I need, come and make me new. Jesus Christ, take my life. I won't waste another day. Holy God, fill my heart, I won't ever be the same". Jesus was marked by His Father, marked by His Love and Favor. Jesus moved in obedience to His Father and therefor He was favored and bared much fruit. I need to bare fruit, I cannot waste another day... Yesterday God spoke to me about stepping out and being obedient, not being lazy and letting another day slip by without me spending time in His Presence and Word. I can only do what He wants me to do when I'm in His presence, hearing from Him, abiding in Him. By abiding in His presence comes fresh rain and instruction from Him for every day.

APPLICATION
Discipline myself to make my time with God the first priority of the day.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for Your grace. Forgive me for my disobedience to Your call. Holy Spirit call me to You every day and help me to devote my life to You!!!!! I OWE YOU EVERYTHING!!!! I OWE YOU THE BEST OF ME, THE BEST OF MY DAY and THE BEST OF MY LIFE!!! Be glorified Jesus!!!! And just as the Word says (Luke 3:16-17) "But John intervened: "I'm baptizing you here in the river. The main character in this drama, to whom I'm a mere stagehand, will ignite the kingdom life, a fire, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He's going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He'll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he'll put out with the trash to be burned."
