"Don't go along with the crowd in doing evil"

SCRIPTURE
Exodus 23:1-3 "Don't pass on malicious gossip. "Don't link up with a wicked person and give corrupt testimony. Don't go along with the crowd in doing evil and don't fudge your testimony in a case just to please the crowd. And just because someone is poor, don't show favoritism in a dispute.

OBSERVATION
Favoritism comes in so many ways. To be a leader, I need to be careful not to be found guilty. Don't go along with the crowd in doing evil - it's so easy to go along with the mood and not to stir up conflict. My pastor said today something SO powerful, we sometimes need to stir up / start a conversation of conflict that will lead to peace. False peace is not what God desires of me, but to step up and defend unity.

APPLICATION
When in a moment where the Holy Spirit clearly tells me that what's going on is not right, to be mature enough and make the necessary decision to move against culture and please God.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You that Your Word are so true and so powerful! Thank You God that You love people, give me the heart that You do. I love You Lord and want to do Your will. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
