His is Greater Than Mine

"Rely on God's wisdom and direction that will lead me on the right direction"

SCRIPTURE
Gen 3:14 God told the serpent:"Because you've done this, you're cursed, cursed beyond all cattle and wild animals, Cursed to slink on your belly, and eat dirt all your life.
Gen 4:2-7 Then she had another baby, Abel. Abel was a herdsman and Cain a farmer. Time passed. Cain brought an offering to God from the produce of his farm. Abel also brought an offering, but from the firstborn animals of his herd, choice cuts of meat. God liked Abel and his offering, but Cain and his offering didn't get his approval. Cain lost his temper and went into a sulk. God spoke to Cain: "Why this tantrum? Why the sulking? If you do well, won't you be accepted? And if you don't do well, sin is lying in wait for you, ready to pounce; it's out to get you, you've got to master it."

OBSERVATION
God has a perfect plan for me. He wants to save me from a lot of heart ache and pain. His only asks that I would rely and rest in His wisdom. Yes, sometimes it hurts, because I would want it my way, BUT His way is far greater than mine and so are His thoughts and plans for me.

APPLICATION
Continue to rest in Him and rely on His strength to see me through.

PRAYER
God thank You for this Word, it's simply but it can be challenging. Thank You for reminding me that the enemy would love to get me off target. Thank You Lord that Your ways are better, far greater than mine or what the devil would love for me to believe. I pray God that You would continue to pour wisdom into my life and that You would keep my heart soft towards You and Your ways. Thank You God for Your grace and Your favor Lord.
