"Obedience in all"

SCRIPTURE
1 Chron 29:12 You hold strength and power in the palm of your hand to build up and strengthen all.
1 Chron 29:16 - I know, dear God, that you care nothing for the surface—you want us, our true selves—and so I have given from the heart, honestly and happily.
O God, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep this generous spirit alive forever in these people always, keep their hearts set firmly in you. And give my son Solomon an uncluttered and focused heart so that he can obey what you command, live by your directions and counsel, and carry through with building The Temple for which I have provided
2 Thes 1:2 Our God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you're to be.

OBSERVATION
Everything I ought to be I find in God! But give me an uncluttered heart O God to follow You in Your directions. I can not only sit and wait on God, but I also need to focus and work on what He asks of me.
Obedience costs and isn't always fun! But it's necessary to please God and to live in the place He desires of us!

APPLICATION
Being obedient to every little thing He asks of me.

PRAYER
Forgive me Lord for my laziness! Help me to obey You in the smallest parts and in the bigger things. Thank You for Your Word today! Thank You for the prayer You gave to David to pray for his son. I ask for the same prayer over my life. May You my Father pray that over me! In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
