High & Low

"God uses every opportunity to do His will"

SCRIPTURE
Matthew 10: 17-20 "Don't be naive. Some people will impugn your motives, others will smear your reputation—just because you believe in me. Don't be upset when they haul you before the civil authorities. Without knowing it, they've done you—and me—a favor, given you a platform for preaching the kingdom news! And don't worry about what you'll say or how you'll say it. The right words will be there; the Spirit of your Father will supply the words.

OBSERVATION
Definition for "impugn":
–verb (used with object)
1. to challenge as false (another's statements, motives, etc.); cast doubt upon.
2. Archaic . to assail (a person) by words or arguments; vilify.
3. Obsolete . to attack (a person) physically.
—Synonyms
1. attack, asperse, malign, criticize, censure.

What am I going to do with critisizm? There is a difference for being totally ignorant and wrong when you are not under a covering (not being accountable to). I'm not looking at this scripture in that light, because there will be those that want to run with this scripture and do whatever they feel like it.
I'm looking at this scripture when I am obedient to God and being accountable to my leaders, and in my doing I'm being challanged as false, being attacked, criticized; that is when God assures me that He will use this opportunity to speak from the platform. And how comforting that He will give us the words to speak!
In my season I believe there will be those that won't see the big picture and can't see that God can use me outside the box, but that is ok cause even in those times God can and will use it for His good and perfect will!

APPLICATION
To stay close to God and to heed His voice. To walk close to leaders in my life I can trust and be accountable to.

PRAYER
I thank You Lord that You know that it won't be always easy, but in those times that You will turn it around and use it for Your glory! God that You today for Your Word! Thank You Holy Spirit for speaking to me and teaching me Your ways! Lord I love You! Thank You for taking the difficult road and dying on the cross for me! In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
