READ: Gen. 31-33; Luke 13
Topic: My life reflecting God in every way
SCRIPTURE:
Luke 13:10-13
He was teaching in one of the meeting places on the Sabbath. There was a woman present, so twisted and bent over with arthritis that she couldn't even look up. She had been afflicted with this for eighteen years. When Jesus saw her, he called her over. "Woman, you're free!" He laid hands on her and suddenly she was standing straight and tall, giving glory to God.
OBSERVATION: In so many ways I am bent over, unable to look up. I honor and respect the way Esau and Jacob spoke to each other. With such respect and kind words, calling each other “Master”. In my life my words need to reflect the same respect for others and that is my hearts desire – to HONOR GOD by honoring others!
APPLICATION:
To allow the love of God to fill my heart, my mind and mouth!
PRAYER:
“Lord, I bless You this morning! Thank You for Your love! Lord, thank You for Your respect! God You are so beautiful and all You do reflects that. May my life reflect Yours in EVERY way! I pray God that You would consecrate myself to Yours. Heal my heart, my hands, my mouth, my mind. Fire burn away what does not honor or please You! I don’t want to set a bad example but through my words and deeds reflect You in the most positive light! You are worthy to be praised and worshiped and loved by others! I love You so much Lord and I appreciate You! Thank You for Your presence this morning! Thank You! Amen!”
