READ: Ezra 4; Ps 113,127; Lk 8
Topic: Giving the opportunity to let God have the reigns
SCRIPTURE:
Ps 113:8 He picks up the poor from out of the dirt, rescues the wretched who've been thrown out with the trash, seats them among the honored guests, a place of honor among the brightest and best.
Ps 127:1-2 If God doesn't build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn't guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It's useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don't you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?
OBSERVATION: God is the reason, the center, EVERYTHING!!!!! If He’s not the reason it’s meaningless. If I become anything that looks like honor from those who watch, the only reason I’m there is because of God! He placed me there, He trusted me there; my responsibility is to given Him not only honor but let go and give Him the reigns in that responsibility!
APPLICATION:
Let go and let God have HIS way!
PRAYER:
“Lord, thank You for this reminder! Thank You Father that You trust us with great responsibilities. Thank You Lord that You give me the opportunities now to learn to be faithful in the little – to truly let go in those moments of responsibility, let go and give You the reigns! I thank You Holy Spirit for teaching me! I thank You that You are here! That I don’t have to beg for You, but that You love to teach me, be around me and love me! I love You! I love what You’re doing in my life! I ask forgiveness for not always allowing You the reigns when it comes to my life and change! Help me to let go!!!! I love You!!! In the Name of Jesus Christ!!!! Amen!”
