READ: Job 23,24; Mk 11,12
Topic: A life of prayer, forgiving others
SCRIPTURE:
Mk 11:22-25 Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.”
OBSERVATION:
Embracing this God-life! It means to be like the woman with the coins at the offering, she gave it all! It means to love God first and to love others. To pray for everything, small and big; and to forgive!
APPLICATION:
Pray for everything, and in everything forgive.
PRAYER:
“Lord, thank You for Your Word. Thank You for putting the first first. God I pray this morning that You would bless Your people with Your presence, that we would truly experience You God. No more questions for those who had question, only answers – which You are the answer! God I ask forgiveness the morning for myself for falling short of Your glory, for grieving You Holy Spirit. I also ask forgiveness in forgiving those who has hurt me. I ask for Your covering today Lord, I need You! I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
