“Only You will release my feet from the snare!”

READ: Lev. 25; Ps. 25-26; Acts 22

Topic: Going through troubles

SCRIPTURE:
Ps 25: 15-18 “My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.”
Ps 26:2,3 “Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth.”
Ps 26:9 “Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with bloodthirsty men…”

OBSERVATION:
My heart is in a snare over few things; and through thinking over it I’ve found that the troubles have multiplied within myself. My tendency is to run away from God, but as David says to God, only You will release my feet from the snare. Test my heart Lord, come and clean it, take away my sin. My sin would be thinking and pondering over things that are not noble and good, but rather what the enemy has thrown down in front of me. “Do not take away my soul along with sinners…”; “God, do not keep my heart like this, but rather deliver me, give me a fresh new start. And instead of letting these troubles bring me down, give me wisdom in how to deal with it!”

APPLICATION:
When my hearts afflicted, always run to Jesus!!!!! Let Him come and restore and heal!

PRAYER:
“Thank You God for this valuable lesson You’ve taught me. Thank You for recovering my heart and thank You for Your grace and mercy to heal me. I thank You Lord that I can always run to You! Help me Holy Spirit, always remind me of this Word You’ve given me – to keep on applying it in my life! In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
