“He has it all!”

READ: Is 19-21; Heb 11

Topic: act of faith

SCRIPTURE:
Heb 11:4 “By an act of faith, Abel brought a better sacrifice to God than Cain. It was what he believed, not what he brought, that made the difference. That’s what God noticed and approved as righteous. After all these centuries, that belief continues to catch our notice.”
Heb 11:7 “By faith, Noah built a ship in the middle of dry land. He was warned about something he couldn’t see, and acted on what he was told. The result? His family was saved. His act of faith drew a sharp line between the evil of the unbelieving world and the rightness of the believing world. As a result, Noah became intimate with God.”

OBSERVATION:
In Hebrews 11 I read these amazing stories that happened to those men and woman of faith. They believed God and stepped out to meet Him and He met them and made their lives unforgettable for centuries to come. To please God, I need to believe and act on that belief. Noah found an intimacy with God as he stepped out and acted on what He heard (not seen). I need to step out to find God, to please Him. It’s NOT what I have to offer that will please Him, but what I believe and bring– that is what will make the difference! (Such and inspiring passage!)

APPLICATION:
Step out and follow what I belief and not what I see!

PRAYER:
“Lord God, thank You for Your patients with me. Thank You for not giving up! You keep on speaking to me in this regard of writing songs. Thank You Lord that it’s not what I have to offer, but it’s what You bring. Lord, I thank You for Your love and support. Thank You for believing in me. I pray that You would help me to be obedient to Your word. Thank You for this amazing passage in the Bible. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
