READ: Mic 5-7; Heb 7
Topic: Stress
SCRIPTURE:
Mic 7:8-10 “Don’t, enemy, crow over me. I’m down, but I’m not out. I’m sitting in the dark right now, but God is my light. I can take God’s punishing rage. I deserve it – I sinned. But it’s not forever. He’s on my side and is going to get me out of this. He’ll turn on the lights and show me His ways. I’ll see the whole picture and how right He is. And my enemy will see it, too, and be discredited – yes, disgraced! This enemy who kept taunting, ‘So where is this God of yours?’ I’m going to see it with these, my own eyes – my enemy disgraced, trash in the gutter.”
OBSERVATION:
Being in a situation where I am pushed in from all sides and it feels like I can hardly breathe – I learned that I need to break away. Just getting away from the situation and relax allows my mind to clear from all frustration and I’m open to receiving from God. The enemy might place thoughts in my mind of frustration and doubt, anger, bitterness and hurt, but I know that God will bring His light and shine once again, showing me the way. Just find a place where I can receive and find Him to find His light.
APPLICATION:
Get away to clear thoughts of frustration; open my heart to God’s love!
PRAYER:
“Thank You Lord for teaching me valuable lessons. Thank You Holy Spirit for being SO faithful. Thank You that I can always depend on You to show me the way. I pray Lord to shut down my enemies, put them to shame. I pray Holy Spirit to make me stronger in You. I thank You for Your love, compassion and understanding for today. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
