“You my Leader!”

READ: Jer 16,17; Ps 96; Jn 16

Topic: God in control of my heart and mind!

SCRIPTURE:
Jer 17:9-10 “The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one an figure out. But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be.”

OBSERVATION:
What a wonderful promise to be in God’s hands. Him personally taking care of the condition of my heart. When I trust in Him to take care of me, He makes sure to expose the truth, He cares too much to leave me the way I am.

APPLICATION:
Trust Him to work out my salvation. It’s not my work, but His. I in turn have to submit my heart and mind to Him – obeying His direction.

PRAYER:
“Lord, thank You this morning for Your promise. I pray that You would take my heart and use it for Your glory. I gladly give my life to You, to honor and serve You. Thank You for this privilege Lord that I can rely on You. Thank You this morning for a beautiful day that I can enjoy in You. Thank You for Your Word of promise Lord that I can tap into – always available to me. I love You Lord with all my heart. I praise You and honor You. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
