“May I fall in love with You all over again!”

Topic: Enjoying God

SCRIPTURE:
Ps. 67:1-3 “God, mark us with grace and blessing! Smile! The whole country will see how You work, all the godless nations will see how You save. God! Let all people thank and enjoy You. Let all people thank and enjoy You.”

OBSERVATION:
So many times I resemble my relationship with my natural Father to my heavenly Father. And how many times I miss out on enjoying God in every day life. The little things – being unable to wait to spend time with Him. Just being excited to learn and sit in His presence.

APPLICATION:
Being open and sensitive to Him teaching me to enjoy Him. That means: actually to spend more time with Him – seeing that He’s good and just enjoying Him.

PRAYER:
“Lord I thank You for Your Word today. I want to experience enjoying You. I want to look forward to spending more time with You. To eat from Your hand and listen to each Word from Your mouth. Oh Lord, may I fall in love with You all over again – each and every day, over and over again. How I long to experience what Your Word says: ‘Let all people thank and enjoy You’. That’s my hearts cry today Lord. May You teach me discipline to choose You over works. In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.”
