“Dare to live!”

READ: 2 Ki 15,16; Hos 1; Heb 1

Topic: Total reliance on Him

SCRIPTURE:
Hos 1:7 “I’ll save them. It will be their God who saves them, not their armaments and armies, not their horsepower and manpower.”

OBSERVATION:
I cannot save myself. I need God EVERY STEP of the way and in every day. It’s not done after salvation, but it’s only begun – the process of salvation. It’s not by my strength or power, but by HIS. My reliance should be on Him for everything, not my horsepower or manpower. Trust and constant seeking, that’s what, He calls me to do. With or without Him?

APPLICATION:
Trusting and seeking Him! Placing my ENTIRE reliance on Him, not just partly but wholly.

PRAYER:
“Heavenly Father, help me to rely on YOU! You be my strength and my song. You be the center, the outer, and the all. I ask forgiveness for not placing You at the throne of my life You gave me. After all it’s not my own, why would I want to run it on my own. I need wisdom, counsel, healing, and deliverance. I’ve not arrived Lord. It’s a keep-on salvation, every day. I pray for Your guidance Lord and I pray, increase Your Spirit in my life. Make me sensitive to You. And God may I not disobey You or even fear to do so. May You keep on helping me ask the right questions, for Your Name’s sake. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
