“Ask for the moon!”

READ: Is 6,7; 2 Chr 26,27; Philem

Topic: miracles in EVERY area of my life

SCRIPTURE:
Is 7:10-15 “God spoke again to Ahaz. This time He said, ‘Ask for a sign from your God. Ask anything. Be extravagant. Ask for the moon!’ But Ahaz said, ‘I’d never do that. I’d never make demands like that on God!’ So Isaiah told him, “Then listen to this, government of David! It’s bad enough that you make people tired with your pious, timid hypocrisies, but now you’re making God tired. So the Master is going to give you a sign anyway. What for this: A girl who is presently a virgin will get pregnant. She’ll bear a son and name Him Immanuel (God-with-us).”

OBSERVATION:
I realize in this passage of scripture that God isn’t incapable of miraculous things. That is HIS nature to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask of. He is a God with mind-blowing creativity and wondrous execution. He desires to see His miraculous power fulfilled in our lives. “Test me and see”… Why would I not want to express my God through me for the world to see how wonderful He truly is?! There is no one like Him and will NEVER be anyone or anything that could remotely even come CLOSE to Him. And I’m proud to serve and be on His side.

APPLICATION:
Ask God for the miraculous for the world to see HIS GLORY!

PRAYER:
“Heavenly Father, how sorry I am for limiting you. How do I dare look at myself expressing Your truth when it’s Your power I need. I dare You Lord to send me songs from heaven that won’t only please me to sing them, but set captives free, bring hearts to break for You. You deserve the best Lord ‘cause You are the best. I want to express YOU Lord – Your nature and Your true self. What an honor Lord. I love You and adore You and I want to make You proud and see others give their lives to You. What an honor. Thank You for Your presence every day in my life Lord. I love every minute in the day I sense Your presence and get to rejoice in You. Thank You for not taking Your Spirit from me, but instead increasing it. What a true miracle I’m living. I love You Lord! In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
